OUR STORY

Prior to the pandemic we had seen the devastating effects of mental illness and suicide in our community. In 2018, seven students from three local high schools: Red Bank Catholic (RBC), Red Bank Regional (RBR) and Rumson- Fair Haven (RFH) decided to make a change. They came together to form the Ridge Road Run 5K to increase mental health awareness and raise funds for mental health programming and supports for their schools.
Today's students will continue the tradition of their successors and put school rivalries aside to come together as one community. The goal is to raise awareness of suicide and mental health, build a stronger community with each other, and raise money for our schools to be used for mental health awareness and educational purposes. |
